Etsy | ‘Belongings’

Summer 2019

For Etsy’s first set of international :30 and :15 television spots, the client and agency had a creative vision built around the importance of personal possessions. We knew that to win the job, we would need to show them that we could build upon this creative, while giving their brand an ownable and unique brand aesthetic to set them firmly apart in a cluttered home decor and lifestyle market. Our message was simple, yet poetic: that the items that make up our lives matter, and that the act of curating a wardrobe or appointing one’s homes is a radical act of self-definition. Visually, we called for a look that celebrated the textural and the tactile—where worn and ruff-hewn patina of items is earned because of gentle use and lots of love.


Xfinity | ‘the Coffee Shop’

Xfinity’s latest service offering—pre-paid internet—is aimed to take the hidden fees and high bills out of high-speed internet for consumers who aren’t into the contracts and surprises of most internet service providers. A :30 and :15 commercial campaign airing in both the US and South America required bilingual talent and a message that would connect with a market of young people. Humorous and relatable, our treatment focused on the cute connection between our talent and a relatable, current look.

Headspace | ‘Healthspace’

FALL 2019

Headspace, the company that’s brought meditation to the masses with their mega-popular app, was looking for a director who would be able to capture content for their latest digital venture. Rather than just a meditation app, their latest subsidiary focuses on bringing mindfulness-based practices into digital medicine to create a holistic journey that focuses on whole-person health. For our treatment, we focused on creating a look that celebrated inclusivity, accessibility and diversity with a clean, modern and spacious look.


Invitation Homes | ‘Lease Friendlier’

winter 2018

Invitation Homes is the nation’s leading provider of home leasing services, offering professionally managed homes in desirable neighborhoods for consumers who want the benefits of single-family-home living without the mortgage. This commercial was designed to speak to the needs and preferences of millennials— the largest market for Invitation Homes. Our goal was to create a treatment that celebrated the benefits of home leasing and that spoke to the lifestyles of young people looking to build the next stage of their adult lives.


IBM | ‘When Neurodiversity Works’

winter 2019

In 2017, IBM partnered with Specialisterne to start IGNITE, a program that brings adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and links them up with jobs at corporations and businesses, employing them in roles that span planning and sourcing to innovation and QA. 44% of people on the ASD spectrum have IQ scores in the average to above-average range, yet nearly half of 25-year-olds with autism have never had a high-paying job, due to barriers in the interview process and a lack of awareness about the importance of neurodiversity in the workplace. High-functioning individuals with ASD have unique gifts and skills they bring to the workplace. By 2020, IBM in partnership with Specialisterne and other providers plans to create 300 new IBM jobs for individuals with ASD globally.

To tell this story, IBM was looking for a director with loads of documentary experience who could tell this story with a sense of grace and sensitivity. We created a treatment that we felt was appropriate in tone and voice for the project. Our vision was for an uplifting documentary that would champion the voices of neurodiverse individuals and celebrate a dedication to lifting people up.


Valley Health | ‘Healthier, Together’

2017

The ask from the Valley Health team and their agency was to create films that would speak to the concerns of everyday Americans battling a cancer diagnosis for either themselves or their loved ones, and that would instill a sense of hope and trust in the viewer. Our treatment spoke to the importance of casting, setting and design that would mimic the real lives of Americans, and a emotional message that would resonate with viewers.


Florida Lottery

2017

For the Florida Lottery, we were asked to bring forth a wholesome and hopeful image of what it meant to play the lottery. Here, we looked to images and situations that would make people feel hopeful and positive about the lottery, with a message that invoked viewers to dream without abandon about the possibility of a brighter future.
